Saturn is Santa Claus

Happy Holidays!

Yesterday was the ancestor’s normal Saturnalia celebration, where they gave each other gifts and reveled with wine and music.

My somber self doesn’t really celebrate Christmas, or any holiday really. I’m just weird that way. Instead I thought about the planet I have a serious love-hate relationship with: Saturn.

The true Santa Claus

What I’m sure most laymen don’t know is that Santa Claus is actually Saturn, aka Father Time, aka Odin, aka Cronus, aka that really old white guy with a beard.

Every wonder why it was so weird that Santa knows what you’ve been doing? How he knows when you’re awake. He knows when you’ve been bad or good, so be… Sorry I couldn’t help it.

But that’s exactly the point. How the fuck would Santa know any of this, unless he’s omniscient?

The jig is up, Santa

What’s interesting is that Santa reprimands you for your bad actions. It’s like he’s dishing out karma for what you’ve done. Alternatively, if you’ve been a good little shit, he trespasses on your property to hand you a present.

Doesn’t that seem strange that Saturn represents the exact same things in astrology?

For a while, I disliked Saturn. Being an Aries, I prefer the quick, passionate lifestyle of Mars or Uranus. Taking my time is quite difficult for me. Funny that the sign Aries squares Capricorn as well.

But after researching Saturn, you realize this planet isn’t always about delays, limits, restrictions, and slowing down.

Okay it is, but that’s not evil or bad. There’s nothing wrong with having limits to your power. It’s part of the contract of incarnating into a human body. Reality isn’t as fantastic as we would like it to be.

In fact, it is our restrictions that force us to become resourceful, to utilize what is readily available to us now. All he asks is that we put in the work with what we have, and we’ll see the results come sooner than we think.

Anyway, I didn’t want this post to go on forever. This was just a filler since I haven’t made a post in a few weeks. 2020 should be an interesting year and I hope that you set some grounding intentions on this eclipse to really make the most of the incoming energy for the next decade.

BUT! If you are curious about how you can prepare for the next decade, or simply just next year, don’t hesitate to contact me about my yearly reading for 2020.

This is the first time that I’ll be fully conscious during the shift of a decade, and I’m trying my damnest to make sure that I set my purpose straight so I don’t get distracted like I have for the past two decades I’ve been alive.

If somehow, some way, I can help you make the best decisions for yourself, via astrology, then that would make me very happy.

Thanks for reading, and Happy New Year!
